Ocean Healthcare Facilities Receive the COVID-19 Vaccine

Thankfully, after much anticipation, the COVID-19 vaccine is finally here. Hunterdon Care Center, Rolling Hills Care Center, and Royal Suites Healthcare and Rehabilitation were among the first facilities in all of New Jersey to receive their supply of the coveted vaccine, which is being administered to staff and patients alike.

The vaccine is being made available initially to healthcare workers who come into contact with patients directly or indirectly as well as certain members of the senior population. The other Ocean Healthcare Network facilities have already been informed of their scheduled dates to receive the vaccine as well.

Since the onset of COVID-19, Ocean Healthcare Network facilities have been at the forefront of providing healthcare services to those most vulnerable. Frontline heroes have displayed remarkable dedication and determination in caring for residents during these trying times.

“For us, this is a dream come true,” says HCC’s Director of Nursing Sharon Slockbower, RN. “It’s like the light at the end of the tunnel!”
